The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egon Lundström during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skärgårdsstads FF's Egon Lundström got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Torbjörn Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jag hör Banjo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Smed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Hans Termander in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 11 minutes into the game, Fredric Örtendahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carl Beck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Torbjörn Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jag hör Banjo's zone, Jörgen Stigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Beck came out of the goal and Jörgen Stigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Örtendahl in the 21st minute of the match. Stig Kristiansson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Hans Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Jörgen Stigsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgny Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Hans Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hans Termander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Smed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ture Blomqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Jag hör Banjo's Stig Kristiansson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skärgårdsstads FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Hans Termander scored to the left of an out of position Ture Blomqvist, making the score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Termander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Torbjörn Smed put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ture Blomqvist. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Torbjörn Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jag hör Banjo's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Smed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Torbjörn Smed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skärgårdsstads FF's Fredric Örtendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jag hör Banjo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
