Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Lilja started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Saynomore FC's Kenny Mårtensson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Saynomore FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Mårtensson. In the 7th minute, Saynomore FC's Kenny Mårtensson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kenny Mårtensson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Saynomore FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kenny Mårtensson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Saynomore FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Jimmie Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Waller in the 22nd minute of play forced Siesta Key FC's goalkeeper Henning Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linus Sandwall came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isak Drewitz could save by the left post. Kent Alströmmer kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Saynomore FC's Isak Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Lilja in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Per Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Di Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Josefsson having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrea Di Vito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmie Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Brander tried in the 54th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Henning Josefsson a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Jimmie Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Henning Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Isak Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saynomore FC's Hannes Lagerberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Erling Böcklund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isak Drewitz. Saynomore FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute Siesta Key FC were awarded a corner. Erling Böcklund went to the cornerflag to take it. Siesta Key FC's Erling Böcklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isak Drewitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Isak Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Sandberg in the 68th minute of the match. Andrea Di Vito hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Lilja in the 74th minute of play forced Saynomore FC's goalkeeper Isak Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Linus Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Saynomore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Tingberg came free, but Isak Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saynomore FC's Isak Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Sandwall in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Andrea Di Vito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henning Josefsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Saynomore FC defense, André Lilja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isak Drewitz. The Saynomore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isak Drewitz should have stopped the shot. Jimmie Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Henning Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Di Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Josefsson having to interfere. Siesta Key FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saynomore FC for a fine match.
