Lidingö's Viktor Bryngelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Berglund in the 22nd minute of play. Magnus Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hans Fogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lidingö. After 26 minutes, Göran Edström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husqvarna FK and the Lidingö players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lidingö booed when Husqvarna FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Edström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Fogel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lidingö fully deserved thier win.
