When Isak Arenius came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Knivsta United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Arenius couldn't finish the play. Marko Biörkman was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Grzegorz Dytrych capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Grzegorz Dytrych really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Knivsta United booed when Gevalia Coffeetigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Joensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krister Lundhberg took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiph Hellsing. Filiph Hellsing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Gevalia Coffeetigers's Olov Myr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Biörkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grzegorz Dytrych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Biörkman having to interfere. In the 29th minute Pär Ahlfors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiph Hellsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Knivsta United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Häll to maneuver through the defense. Josef Häll hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Knivsta United's Hjalmar Bröms got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Olov Myr came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Gevalia Coffeetigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Myr couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Grzegorz Dytrych made the kick off in the second half. Filiph Hellsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gevalia Coffeetigers's Sven-Erik Joensson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Grzegorz Dytrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Biörkman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Viberg went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Gevalia Coffeetigers's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Wiberg came free, but Filiph Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Arenius's late challenge caught a Gevalia Coffeetigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Arenius helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Knivsta United! Marko Biörkman went to the wrong direction when Filip Viberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Grzegorz Dytrych managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gevalia Coffeetigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Dytrych was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Biörkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiph Hellsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gevalia Coffeetigers's Filiph Hellsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Wiberg in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Knivsta United defense, Grzegorz Dytrych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marko Biörkman. The Knivsta United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marko Biörkman should have stopped the shot. Knivsta United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
