Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sture Sandström started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Perspolis FC booed when Slingan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slingan BK's Bengt-Arne Bolin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joakim Melberg in the 10 minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Sture Sandström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perspolis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sture Ahlrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sture Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sture Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Perspolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Molander came free, but Sven-Åke Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Joel Rolfsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slingan BK and the Perspolis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute of the match Maximilian Dahlbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sture Ahlrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sture Sandström in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Ahlrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Perspolis FC's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Jakobsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Jonsson. 28 minutes into the match, Slingan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Sandström came free, but Sture Ahlrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Sture Sandström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sture Ahlrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Slingan BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Perspolis FC:s goal. The referee gave Perspolis FC a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andreas Jakobsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Slingan BK's Sture Ahlrot. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sture Sandström in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Ahlrot saved Slingan BK from getting behind. When Perspolis FC's Sture Sandström in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slingan BK's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rudolf Jonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Åke Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Jonsson in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Torbjörn Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Perspolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Molander came free, but Sven-Åke Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Sandström got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-4 in the right cross in the 70th match minute before Sture Ahlrot had time to react. 73 minutes into the match, Perspolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Jonsson came free, but Sven-Åke Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Torbjörn Molander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Jakobsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Ingvar Falkrans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perspolis FC made a substitution. Frank Termander replaced Wictor Gustafsson. In the 83rd minute of the match Gösta Julin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sture Ahlrot skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Perspolis FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
