If Jan-Ove Lenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Pär Ahlfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knivsta United and the Ramlösa United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Knivsta United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Nils-Erik Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Josef Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Nils-Erik Dahlqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marko Biörkman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marko Biörkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Lenberg in the 28th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Lenberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marko Biörkman, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Knivsta United's zone, Nils-Erik Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Biörkman came out of the goal and Nils-Erik Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Christian Strandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Lundhberg in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nils-Erik Dahlqvist made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Knivsta United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Allan Kruuse hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Kristiansson in the 53rd minute of play forced Knivsta United's goalkeeper Marko Biörkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marko Biörkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Lenberg's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Knivsta United's Marko Biörkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Dahlqvist in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Knivsta United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Josef Häll hit a great ball. The supporters of Ramlösa United booed when Knivsta United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Wiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Knivsta United got a freekick which was hit by Krister Lundhberg. Marko Biörkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Erik Forsell's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Krister Lundhberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Strandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Christian Strandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Lundhberg in the 79th minute. Nils-Erik Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marko Biörkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Ramlösa United got a freekick which was hit by Björn Molander. Christian Strandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Lundhberg in the 89th minute. Ramlösa United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
