The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonas Sundström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marko Biörkman came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Sundström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Marko Biörkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Sundström's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Knivsta United! 29 minutes into the match, Lidingö's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Lundhberg came free, but Viktor Bryngelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magnus Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Krister Lundhberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Biörkman having to interfere. Oliver Sundström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Biörkman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Oliver Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Jonas Sundström made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Lidingö's Jonas Sundström made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marko Biörkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marko Biörkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Sundström's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Knivsta United's Marko Biörkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Sundström in the 67th minute of play. Josef Wiberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Bryngelsson having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, Knivsta United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Sundström came free, but Marko Biörkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidingö's goalkeeper Viktor Bryngelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marko Biörkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Lidingö's Jonas Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Biörkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Allan Kruuse's late challenge caught a Lidingö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Knivsta United:s Marko Biörkman showed great skill when he stopped Adam Askelöf:s penalty. In the 86th minute, Adam Askelöf made a precise shot to the right of Marko Biörkman. Knivsta United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Knivsta United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lidingö.
