Esbjörn Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peder Skytt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joar Alebäck's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Örjan Willig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esbjörn Gunnarsson made a kick off. Örjan Willig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Peder Skytt made a huge save. Thomas Asklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Westerstrand having to interfere. The tension between the Sandared IK and the Vänge BF players grew even worse after the yellow card.
