After a rather tough play, Abborrträsk IK's Kasper Löfkvist got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, David Bocklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abborrträsk IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bocklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Giroud booed when Abborrträsk IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Biörk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Zebastian Fernström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ove Wahlnäs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Giroud's goal looked a bit too open when David Bocklund came free, but Allan Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Emanuel Dalberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy-Floyd Udden hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Giroud's zone, David Bocklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Arenstedt came out of the goal and David Bocklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Arenstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Qvalfeldt in the 34th minute of the match. Emanuel Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Allan Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes FC Giroud got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy-Floyd Udden. In the 48th minute Emanuel Dalberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Emanuel Dalberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Bocklund got free with Allan Arenstedt in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Bocklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Allan Arenstedt made a huge save. Allan Arenstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Dalberg in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Sigvard Tunström put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ove Wahlnäs. After having played for 83 minutes, Fabian Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abborrträsk IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Flinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Dalberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Arenstedt having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, FC Giroud's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Dalberg came free, but Allan Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abborrträsk IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Giroud.
