Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ingmar Bengtsson kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes, Isidor AIK's Lars Holmgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Holm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Isidor AIK reached it. After a rather tough play, Örebro IF's Stefan Lundström got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jörgen Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Holm having to interfere. Jörgen Törnblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Holm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conny Josefsson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonatan Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Törnblom in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Holm saved Örebro IF from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Isidor AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Bengtsson came free, but Tobias Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Örebro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonatan Jonsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Isidor AIK's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Conny Josefsson drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Örebro IF's goalkeeper. Ingmar Bengtsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 41 minutes into the game, Ingmar Bengtsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobias Ryberg. Ingmar Bengtsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Isidor AIK's Jan Unesson got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Jörgen Törnblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isidor AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Örebro IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Isidor AIK were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörgen Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. Michael Holm made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jörgen Törnblom sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Holm came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Isidor AIK's Jörgen Törnblom. But to his dismay, Jörgen Törnblom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After a rather tough play, Isidor AIK's Helge Fristedt got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Törnblom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Holm was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Lars Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ingmar Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Unesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Michael Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Wilhelm Söder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Ryberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidor AIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
