In the 20th match minute, Linghed was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Björkman to maneuver through the defense. Henry Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Ryberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Holmgren during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Isidor AIK's Lars Holmgren got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Linghed booed when Isidor AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Sven Vedholm made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Isidor AIK's Tobias Ryberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Linghed were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ingvar Wik hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Linghed's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Törnblom came free, but Peter Hormaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Isidor AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Vedholm came free, but Tobias Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Törnblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilhelm Säfström's late challenge caught a Isidor AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Säfström helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Linghed! A collision led to Linghed getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wilhelm Säfström hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Linghed players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Isidor AIK.
