Jörgen Törnblom scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peder Skytt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Jörgen Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Isidor AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Gunnarsson came free, but Tobias Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Isidor AIK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jan Unesson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Esbjörn Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Ryberg was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Niklas Bergdal charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Bergdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niklas Bergdal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jörgen Törnblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Peder Skytt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Asklund got free with Tobias Ryberg in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Esbjörn Gunnarsson made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Isidor AIK's Jörgen Törnblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peder Skytt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidor AIK's Tobias Ryberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Gunnarsson in the 57th minute of play. When Jonatan Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isidor AIK's protests and gave Jonatan Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, one of Isidor AIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Isidor AIK. Thomas Asklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Jan Unesson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peder Skytt. Vänge BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Unesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Vänge BF's Thomas Asklund got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Thomas Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vänge BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Ryberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Gunnarsson went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jan Unesson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Isidor AIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
