When Per-Arne Hök came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Undenäs BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Hök couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Dan Söderman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Vallman was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Örjan Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rune Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Vallman came out of the goal and Örjan Grelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Undenäs BK booed when Figeholm IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elliot Tunander came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Undenäs BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Tunander couldn't finish the play. If Per-Arne Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Per-Arne Hök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Gösta Kråk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
