Gustaf Wallman was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Stamford United's Henrik Hagberg got control of the ball when Andreas Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Stamford United got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Bryngelsson. In the 28th minute of the match, Andreas Jansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henrik Hagberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Stamford United's Henrik Hagberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Stamford United from getting a goal against them. Christoffer Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gustaf Wallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Hudiksvall FF's Henrik Hagberg threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Hake, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stefan Majman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Ekegren to make the kick off. Edvard Ekegren in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustaf Wallman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stefan Majman charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrik Hagberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Hudiksvall FF were the better team. Hudiksvall FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
