Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hasselfors FK's Tord Sundström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mark Nykvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Sjödin during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grimsås's Kurt Sjödin got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Olov Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Nykvist came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Grimsås's Roger Lönn. But to his dismay, Roger Lönn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 31st minute, Roger Lönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Nykvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Lönn in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Grimsås's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Bolin came free, but Tobias Wester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Roger Lönn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimsås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Lönn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Viktor Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hasselfors FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grimsås the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Hasselfors FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Mark Nykvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Wenerdahl in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Lönn was the one to do the kick off. Roger Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Nykvist having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Olov Wenerdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Nykvist. Hasselfors FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Wenerdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 65 minutes Hasselfors FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mats Bergman who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Grimsås's corner Mats Bergman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mark Nykvist quite easily take care of the ball. Hampus Hökqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mark Nykvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsås's zone, Roger Malmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Wester came out of the goal and Roger Malmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Magnus Biörling hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Grimsås's Tobias Wester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Malmberg in the 74th minute of play. When Hampus Hökqvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grimsås's protests and gave Hampus Hökqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hasselfors FK booed when Grimsås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tord Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Lönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonas Bolin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hasselfors FK's protests and gave Jonas Bolin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Jonas Bolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roger Lönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Hasselfors FK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Verner Wallengren hit a great ball. Roger Lönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mark Nykvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Lönn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Mark Nykvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Wester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Bolin in the 92nd minute of play. Roger Malmberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Wester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Malmberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The Grimsås players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
