In the 4th match minute, Hulesjöns BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Lång notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hulesjöns BK's Börge Mattsson. Börge Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vilgot Kilman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Abelsson's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Mats Aleberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Viktor Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Sixten Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Jon Holmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Börge Mattsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 played minutes Hulesjöns BK got a freekick which was hit by Tim Abelsson. When Jon Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sandared fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Holmberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hulesjöns BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Svante Bengtsson hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Sandared's Jon Holmberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Mattsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Rudberg in the 41st minute of play forced Sandared's goalkeeper Vilgot Kilman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Sandared's Mats Aleberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Börge Mattsson. Börge Mattsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Mats Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Mattsson having to interfere.

The wind increased when Jon Holmberg made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mikael Henriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandared's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hulesjöns BK the free kick. The supporters of Hulesjöns BK booed when Sandared was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Hulesjöns BK's Sixten Örnberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Holmberg in the 56th minute of play forced Hulesjöns BK's goalkeeper Börge Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilgot Kilman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Rudberg in the 58th minute. Jon Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Börge Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Hulesjöns BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Abelsson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esbjörn Lång in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börge Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egon Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sandared fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Hulesjöns BK. Sixten Örnberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vilgot Kilman. 5-1. In the 84th minute Mikael Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Aleberg in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börge Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Aleberg in the 88th minute of play forced Hulesjöns BK's goalkeeper Börge Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Lång's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börge Mattsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sandared's Jon Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sandared had played much better football throughout.
