Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) AS Sockenplan's Leonardo Ekeroth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan-Åke Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Åke Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Säter BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Fernström came free, but Börje Dalberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Ekeroth took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Dalberg. Börje Dalberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jan-Ove Simonsson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Filip Nord sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Herman Hägg suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Joel Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Säter BK's Edgar Malmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Åke Fernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Dalberg having to interfere. A collision led to Säter BK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kjell Finman hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Leonardo Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Dalberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Finman's late challenge caught a AS Sockenplan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Finman helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Jan-Åke Fernström put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Börje Dalberg. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edgar Malmberg made the kick off in the second half. Klas Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Säter BK's Edgar Malmberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Simonsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jan-Åke Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AS Sockenplan's Leonardo Ekeroth got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, AS Sockenplan's Jan-Åke Fernström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Dalberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Ove Simonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Malmberg in the 67th minute of the match. AS Sockenplan's Leonardo Ekeroth got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Ekeroth might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Dalberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Ekeroth ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonardo Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Ekeroth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. AS Sockenplan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Leonardo Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, AS Sockenplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Byström to maneuver through the defense. AS Sockenplan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
