Tor-Magnus Knutsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niclas Elg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Kristian Vallmark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tor-Magnus Knutsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tord Kjellman during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IFK EMOU's Tord Kjellman got a free kick in the 8th minute. When AIK's Kristian Vallmark in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK EMOU's goalie prevented a goal. Niclas Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Magnus Knutsen in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Påk to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Kristian Vallmark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Elg. IFK EMOU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Vallmark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in IFK EMOU's zone, Henrik Rõõmussaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Elg came out of the goal and Henrik Rõõmussaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Kristian Vallmark sped through IFK EMOU's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Niclas Elg. The IFK EMOU fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AIK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
