The Trandareds SK fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Trandareds SK's Stig-Arne Siggesson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, Timmernabben RK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Siggesson came free, but Tom Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trandareds SK's Jonny Falk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Trandareds SK from getting a goal against them. Victor Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tom Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Arne Siggesson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Sandwall saved Timmernabben RK from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Victor Finsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. After recieving a nice pass, Trandareds SK's Jack Brogren tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Folke Björkman fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timmernabben RK's protests and gave Folke Björkman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Timmernabben RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Björkman to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Tomas Mickelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timmernabben RK and the Trandareds SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben RK's Tomas Mickelsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tom Sandwall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Arne Siggesson's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Victor Finsberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tom Sandwall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trandareds SK. Jonny Falk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Mickelsson in the 40th minute of play. Villiam Rang was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvin Wallgren to make the kick off. Jack Brogren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Inge Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Trandareds SK's Erland Haström got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Timmernabben RK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Siggesson came free, but Tom Sandwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stig-Arne Siggesson in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tom Sandwall kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Stig-Arne Siggesson came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Trandareds SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Arne Siggesson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Siggesson in the 89th minute of play forced Timmernabben RK's goalkeeper Tom Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Stig-Arne Siggesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trandareds SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
