Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Surahammars IF's Sven-Oskar Malmberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Surahammars IF's Nils-Erik Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Wallgren in the 2nd minute of play. Nils-Erik Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Hammarbäck in the 4th minute of play. Jack Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nils-Erik Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Timmernabben RK's Jack Hammarbäck in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Villiam Rang charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Villiam Rang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Surahammars IF's Sven-Oskar Malmberg in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tom Sandwall guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jack Hammarbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Mickelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Aleberg having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edvin Wallgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Erik Aleberg was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Hammarbäck made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Surahammars IF's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Aleberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Wallgren. In the 55th minute, Paul Collin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Wallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute, Paul Collin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Marcus Dahlberg put in a rough tackle. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Timmernabben RK! Tom Sandwall had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Wictor Cane's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 71st match minute, Timmernabben RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Bogren to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Surahammars IF's Wictor Cane tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Edvin Wallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Rang got free with Nils-Erik Aleberg in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Sven-Oskar Malmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surahammars IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tom Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. During the 93rd minute of the match Paul Collin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paul Collin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Paul Collin hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Edvin Wallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Oskar Malmberg's late challenge caught a Timmernabben RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Oskar Malmberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Surahammars IF's Sven-Oskar Malmberg got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a little luck, Surahammars IF's Nils-Erik Aleberg got control of the ball when Edvin Wallgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Surahammars IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Timmernabben RK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
