Djingis Khans BK were furious when Nils-Emil Grönberg was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Nils-Emil Grönberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Nilsson in the 8th minute of play forced Djingis Khans BK's goalkeeper Jon Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicklas Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jon Kuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Sjödin in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Thor Sandberg had to leave the field with a concussion. After a rather tough play, Munktown City's Baudelio Torrijo got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Djingis Khans BK booed when Munktown City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Bredberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Jelm in the 37th minute of play forced Djingis Khans BK's goalkeeper Jon Kuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Kuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Ahlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Karl Mellbad made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Max Hägert sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilgot Grönberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Nils-Åke Sjödin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jon Kuse made a huge save. In the 54th minute Fredrik Runeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Mellbad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Sjödin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jon Kuse came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils-Åke Sjödin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Munktown City's Nils-Åke Sjödin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Nils-Åke Sjödin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jon Kuse made a huge save. Munktown City made a substitution. Osvald Wahlström replaced Marcus Joensson. Jon Kuse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils-Åke Sjödin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Nicklas Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jon Kuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Sjödin in the 87th minute. Djingis Khans BK's Jon Kuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Ahlén in the 89th minute of play. Jon Kuse was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Åke Jelm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. Munktown City's Karl Mellbad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Grönberg in the 96th minute of play.
