Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven-Erik Björk kicked off to start the match. Leif Abrahamsson in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evert Lundberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sven-Erik Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsheda FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Pliszka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes of play, Forsheda FF's Christer Falkrantz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Pliszka was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Falkrantz in the 13th minute of play forced Stjärtpillarnas IK's goalkeeper Jan Pliszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Sven-Erik Björk made a precise shot to the right of Jan Pliszka. Stjärtpillarnas IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sven-Erik Björk's late challenge caught a Stjärtpillarnas IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Erik Björk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Forsheda FF's Sven-Erik Björk got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jan Pliszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Lundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell Galle in the 23rd minute. Ivan Rosin charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Rosin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Stjärtpillarnas IK got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Rosin. In the 28th minute, Kjell Galle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evert Lundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Harry Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stjärtpillarnas IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Pliszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Falkrantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Forsheda FF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Oscar Byström hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pliszka having to interfere. Allan Tinglöv's late challenge caught a Stjärtpillarnas IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Tinglöv helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Erik Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexander Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Stjärtpillarnas IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Forsheda FF were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Abrahamsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Georg Trillkott put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Forsheda FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Arman Ivarsson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, one of Stjärtpillarnas IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stjärtpillarnas IK. Stjärtpillarnas IK:s Jan Pliszka showed great skill when he stopped Ulf Nyström:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Falkrantz got free with Jan Pliszka in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christer Falkrantz came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jan Pliszka could save by the left post. In the 84th minute, Christer Falkrantz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Pliszka. The goal made the score 3-4. In the 88th minute, Leif Abrahamsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stjärtpillarnas IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Harry Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stjärtpillarnas IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Abrahamsson in the 98th minute of the match. In the 99th match minute, Forsheda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense.
