Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Fågel in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Billberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Altersbruk RK's Axel Billberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Blomqvist in the 18th minute of play. Axel Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fågel in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Umeå FC's Olov Boström got control of the ball when Melker Stigsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Rickard Västerberg in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altersbruk RK's Maximilian Olsson. Sven-Edvin Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Axel Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Billberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Blomqvist went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Juan Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altersbruk RK's Christopher Ståhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickard Västerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Fågel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Fågel in the 83rd minute of play forced Altersbruk RK's goalkeeper Axel Billberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
