Kristian Dalgren started the match with the kick off. Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Skottorp IFK from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the game, Georg Viberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Pliszka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Stjärtpillarnas IK's Robert Nyberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Aspengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Nyberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Stjärtpillarnas IK's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Pihlblad came free, but Jan Pliszka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Skottorp IFK from getting a goal against them. Leif Aspengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Nyberg in the 38th minute of the match. Jan Pliszka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Dalgren in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leif Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Kristian Dalgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skottorp IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stjärtpillarnas IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skottorp IFK's Kristian Dalgren got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th match minute, Stjärtpillarnas IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Stjärtpillarnas IK's Jan Pliszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Dalgren in the 62nd minute of play. Georg Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pliszka having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Herbert Sundberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Stjärtpillarnas IK's Jan Pliszka. Jan Pliszka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Skottorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Galle came free, but Leif Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Leif Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leif Aspengren. Skottorp IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Arman Ivarsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skottorp IFK's Nicklas Sjöberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Dalgren in the 82nd minute of play forced Stjärtpillarnas IK's goalkeeper Jan Pliszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Leif Abrahamsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Arman Ivarsson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Stjärtpillarnas IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arman Ivarsson couldn't finish the play. Stjärtpillarnas IK's Jan Pliszka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Stjärtpillarnas IK from getting a goal against them. Georg Viberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jan Pliszka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Herbert Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jan Pliszka made a huge save. Jan Pliszka came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Skottorp IFK's Georg Viberg. But to his dismay, Georg Viberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Skottorp IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
