Anders Bergman might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Åke Danielsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anders Bergman ran back to his position shaking his head. Blue Saints's Nils-Åke Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Alströmmer in the 7th minute of play. Blue Saints's Christoffer Rosendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Christoffer Rosendahl sent off a good shot on target. When Manfred Berg fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörbylånga's protests and gave Manfred Berg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Blue Saints booed when Mörbylånga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Danielsson having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Manfred Berg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mörbylånga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Anders Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Alströmmer in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Åke Danielsson saved Blue Saints from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Christoffer Rosendahl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonas Dahlkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Anders Bergman made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Blue Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Bergman came free, but Nils-Åke Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Alströmmer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Nils-Åke Danielsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Blue Saints's Andreas Dalgren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, one of Blue Saints:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leonard Walroth walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nils-Åke Danielsson came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Mörbylånga's Maximilian Soned. But to his dismay, Maximilian Soned quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Thomas Alströmmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mörbylånga's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Alströmmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 84 played minutes Blue Saints got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Dahlkvist. Blue Saints's Nils-Åke Danielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Saints from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Maximilian Soned mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mörbylånga and the Blue Saints players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blue Saints booed when Mörbylånga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Soned didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Ulf Hultin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Anders Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mörbylånga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Åke Danielsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anders Bergman's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Mörbylånga played a much better game than Blue Saints and deserved their victory. The Blue Saints players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
