Vidar Björcks short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Kalle Eskilsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 16th match minute, Vänersborg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Dag Bergkvist in the 17th minute really tested Kalle Eskilsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vidar Björck kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 19thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Vänersborg FK's keeper Kalle Eskilsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Vänersborg FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andréas Bodin 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Vidar Björck struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kalle Eskilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lansap Timber. 37 minutes into the game, Mattias Askelöf lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Kalle Eskilsson. Vidar Björck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Kalle Eskilsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mattias Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kalle Eskilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lansap Timber booed when Vänersborg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vänersborg FK's Tobias Källberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Vidar Björck could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Kalle Eskilsson however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magnus Jelm to make the kick off. Kalle Eskilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Björck in the 52nd minute of the match. Vidar Björck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalle Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Askelöf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Vänersborg FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Källberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match Dag Bergkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kalle Eskilsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 76 minutes of play Vänersborg FK's Tobias Källberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Lansap Timber booed when Vänersborg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Källberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Apelquist's late challenge caught a Lansap Timber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Apelquist helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vänersborg FK! The referee gave Lansap Timber a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dag Bergkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vänersborg FK's Kalle Eskilsson. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Askelöf in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Eskilsson saved Vänersborg FK from getting behind. If Christian Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vänersborg FK's Kalle Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Björck in the 91st minute of play. Kalle Eskilsson came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Lansap Timber's Mattias Askelöf. But to his dismay, Mattias Askelöf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 99th minute Mattias Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Lansap Timber were the better team. Lansap Timber's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
