Spectators: 7447 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vidar Björck got the match started through his kick off. Örjan Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Bodin in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Romelanda UF got a freekick which was hit by Jan Willig. After 20 minutes of play, Lansap Timber's Vidar Björck made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Örjan Vallengren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Kilman in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Ström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Lansap Timber's Jörgen Bryngelsson got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th match minute, Romelanda UF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Vidar Björck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Örjan Vallengren made a huge save. With a little luck, Romelanda UF's Örjan Vallengren got control of the ball when Vidar Björck tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Michael Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örjan Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Bodin in the 41st minute of play. Mattias Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Vallengren having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Söderqvist to make the kick off. Örjan Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Bodin in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Bolin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Romelanda UF booed when Lansap Timber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lansap Timber getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mattias Askelöf hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Allan Kilman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romelanda UF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Patrik Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Kilman in the 60th minute. Mattias Askelöf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Örjan Vallengren having to make a save. Örjan Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidar Björck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Örjan Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vidar Björck went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Romelanda UF's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Björck came free, but Örjan Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lansap Timber's Mattias Askelöf got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Andréas Bodin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Örjan Vallengren. Örjan Vallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 95th minute, Andréas Bodin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lansap Timber fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
