The referee ignored Lansap Timber's protests and gave Jan Bolin a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Bolin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Sven Alström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lansap Timber's Patrik Ström didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A collision led to Blue Saints getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dag Siggman hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mattias Askelöf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils-Åke Danielsson was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Lansap Timber's Jan Bolin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Vidar Björck took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Nils-Åke Danielsson to make any attempt to save it. Andréas Bodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nils-Åke Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidar Björcks short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nils-Åke Danielsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nils-Åke Danielsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Askelöf in the 78th minute. With his leg Nils-Åke Danielsson managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Lansap Timber's Vidar Björck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vidar Björck let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post. A hard shot 85 in the game by Vidar Björck from a close distance when the talented Nils-Åke Danielsson managed to make a qualified save. Blue Saints's players were relieved. Nils-Åke Danielsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidar Björck in the 86th minute. Vidar Björck kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 89thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Blue Saints's keeper Nils-Åke Danielsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Lansap Timber's Andréas Bodin got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blue Saints's Nils-Åke Danielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Blue Saints from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Andréas Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lansap Timber's supporters rose to their feet, but Andréas Bodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Vidar Björck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils-Åke Danielsson, 0-7.
