Martin Ramirez made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Jerry Sander sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute, Eric Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfons Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The referee ignored Rampekärr-Falköping IF's protests and gave Erling Vennerlund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rampekärr-Falköping IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Erling Vennerlund hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match Göran Haraldsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Ramirez skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Henric Lindgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Per-Olof Granberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerry Sander charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Sander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Sander in the 98th minute of the match. The meldo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rampekärr-Falköping IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
