Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sigvard Brask kicked off to start the match. If Sigvard Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sigvard Brask came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Balders Hage IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Brask couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Vidar Björck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Jan Bolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Lundgren succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Eric Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Askelöf in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Lansap Timber were awarded a corner. Dag Bergkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dag Bergkvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Fredriksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sigvard Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vidar Björck's late challenge caught a Balders Hage IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vidar Björck helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Lansap Timber's zone, Sigvard Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Ström came out of the goal and Sigvard Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Ove Lundgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mattias Askelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Balders Hage IF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sakarias Skytt hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eric Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidar Björck in the 51st minute. Mattias Askelöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Björck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Eric Fredriksson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidar Björck got free with Eric Fredriksson in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrik Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Patrik Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Asklund in the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lansap Timber defense, Sigvard Brask kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Ström. The Lansap Timber fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Ström should have stopped the shot. Nils Asklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson got control of the ball when Vidar Björck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrik Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Björck kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Lansap Timber getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vidar Björck hit a great ball. Nils Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Patrik Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Balders Hage IF fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Balders Hage IF's Sigvard Brask looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Sigvard Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balders Hage IF's Ove Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Sigvard Brask made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Ström. Lansap Timber's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Balders Hage IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
