Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sigvard Brask made the kick off and thus started the match. When Balders Hage IF's Sigvard Brask in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye meldo's goalie prevented a goal. If Jerry Sander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balders Hage IF's Sigvard Brask managed to work through meldo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sigvard Brask dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Valter Volberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Lundgren in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Nils Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balders Hage IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Målare hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Ove Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Brask in the 39th minute of play forced meldo's goalkeeper Per-Olof Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radowit Zerde hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in meldo's zone, Nils Asklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Granberg came out of the goal and Nils Asklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stellan Felin made a kick off. When Nils Asklund came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Balders Hage IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Asklund couldn't finish the play. Sigvard Brask struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Per-Olof Granberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balders Hage IF. The long shot by Maxim Domuță in the 55th minute really tested Per-Olof Granberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Per-Olof Granberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ove Lundgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. The supporters of Balders Hage IF booed when meldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Alstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Nils Asklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balders Hage IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ove Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Granberg having to interfere. Jerry Sander struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eric Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for meldo. In the 74thth minute of the game Torsten Hammarbäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Sjöberg during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balders Hage IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! 83 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's Valter Volberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Olof Granberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Olof Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Brask in the 85th minute of play. Sigvard Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, meldo's Per-Olof Granberg got control of the ball when Sigvard Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sigvard Brask recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per-Olof Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Volberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Balders Hage IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
