Spectators: 7355 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Sivert Lindsten came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Skälvik RK's Åke Odman. But to his dismay, Åke Odman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Matthias Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Falkrans in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sivert Lindsten saved Hekto IF from getting behind. Alvar Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lucas Hegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Skälvik RK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kasper Fredriksson hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Alvar Lekberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hekto IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Örjan Falkrans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Skälvik RK's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Blom came free, but Lucas Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Hegg came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Hekto IF's Alvar Lekberg. But to his dismay, Alvar Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 43rd minute Alvar Lekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Hegg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Lindsten having to interfere. In the 46th minute Örjan Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Örjan Falkrans made the kick off in the second half. Carl Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Skälvik RK's Lucas Hegg got control of the ball when Matthias Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skälvik RK's Carl Jakobsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skälvik RK's goalkeeper Lucas Hegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hekto IF's Birger Spets got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Skälvik RK's Örjan Falkrans made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Lindsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! When David Hägglund fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hekto IF's protests and gave David Hägglund a yellow card for diving instead. David Hägglund hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Bocklund's late challenge caught a Skälvik RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Olof Bocklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, one of Hekto IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hekto IF. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Skälvik RK. Sten Helander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sivert Lindsten. 3-2. Alvar Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lucas Hegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hekto IF's Sivert Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Jakobsson in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Björn Lilja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hekto IF and the Skälvik RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Björn Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sten Helander, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hekto IF's zone, Carl Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sivert Lindsten came out of the goal and Carl Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Hegg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Matthias Blom sent off a good shot on target. Hekto IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
