Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Holger Forss started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gunnar Berg made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Matthias Blom sent off a good shot on target. Philip Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sivert Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hekto IF defense, Uno Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sivert Lindsten. The Hekto IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sivert Lindsten should have stopped the shot. Hekto IF's Sivert Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Forss in the 14th minute of play. Matthias Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Hekto IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Lekberg to maneuver through the defense. Birger Spets hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Uno Söderberg made a precise shot to the right of Sivert Lindsten. Hekto IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Philip Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Lindsten having to interfere. In the 27th minute Holger Forss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Uno Söderberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svängsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Uno Söderberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sivert Lindsten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holger Forss struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sivert Lindsten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svängsta. Philip Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uno Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Svängsta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uno Söderberg couldn't finish the play. If Philip Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivert Lindsten came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Svängsta's Kurt Wik. But to his dismay, Kurt Wik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in Hekto IF's zone, Vilgot Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sivert Lindsten came out of the goal and Vilgot Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Wik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sivert Lindsten came out and tried to block the shot, but Kurt Wik slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. Philip Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivert Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Forss in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute Philip Fanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sivert Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Söderberg in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Hekto IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Henric Ahlberg hit a great ball. Marc Klint, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Philip Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sivert Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hekto IF's goalkeeper Sivert Lindsten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvar Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gunnar Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Holger Forss got free with Sivert Lindsten in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute, Jon Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svängsta played a much better game than Hekto IF and deserved their victory. The Hekto IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
