Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvar Lekberg started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Matthias Blom sped through Höglandets FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaf Rudqvist. 6 minutes into the match, Höglandets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Lekberg came free, but Gustaf Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gustaf Rudqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Sivert Lindsten made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Elliott Grönberg put in a rough tackle. 15 minutes into the game, one of Höglandets FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gustaf Rudqvist went to the wrong direction when Per-Olof Bocklund was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Kennet Andersson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 22nd minute, David Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Rudqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Blom in the 31st minute of play. Kennet Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilgot Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Lindsten having to interfere. If Alvar Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Hermansson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilgot Hermansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Vilgot Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kennet Andersson to make the kick off. Sivert Lindsten came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Höglandets FF's Kennet Andersson. But to his dismay, Kennet Andersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Hekto IF's Matthias Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaf Rudqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Höglandets FF's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Blom. Vilgot Hermansson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of Höglandets FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Höglandets FF. Sivert Lindsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Andersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Lilja in the 79th minute of play forced Höglandets FF's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Andersson in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Höglandets FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Ladio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alvar Lekberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Rudqvist was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Björn Lilja kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Höglandets FF's Gustaf Rudqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Höglandets FF from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hekto IF were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Höglandets FF side.
