Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Holger Forss took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Göran Burman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IzmirFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svängsta the free kick. Göran Burman hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Holger Forss from a close distance when the talented Jonny Kielstedt managed to make a qualified save. IzmirFK's players were relieved. The supporters of IzmirFK booed when Svängsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Stigsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Svängsta getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jon Sandström hit a great ball. IzmirFK's Jonny Kielstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Fanström in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Holger Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svängsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Forss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonny Kielstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Josefsson in the 25th minute of play forced Svängsta's goalkeeper Gunnar Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Kielstedt having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, IzmirFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Knutsson to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Kurt Wik notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of IzmirFK's Jonny Kielstedt. Jonny Kielstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Holger Forss's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Jonny Kielstedt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Markusson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Per-Erik Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Kielstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uno Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Peter Vollander kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Kurt Wik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonny Kielstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Svängsta's Holger Forss in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IzmirFK's goalie prevented a goal. Gunnar Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Josefsson in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Uno Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Kielstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kennet Markusson's late challenge caught a Svängsta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Markusson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IzmirFK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kennet Markusson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Holger Forss in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonny Kielstedt saved IzmirFK from getting behind. Gunnar Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Markusson in the 94th minute of play. IzmirFK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
