Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alvar Lekberg got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Vollander in the 3rd minute of play forced Hekto IF's goalkeeper Sivert Lindsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hekto IF's Alvar Lekberg in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IzmirFK's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, IzmirFK's Jonny Kielstedt got control of the ball when Matthias Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kennet Markusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Peter Vollander came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the IzmirFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Vollander couldn't finish the play. Peter Vollander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sivert Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Erik Josefsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Lindsten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Martin Knutsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IzmirFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Knutsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Alvar Lekberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Björn Lilja during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Markusson in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sivert Lindsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sivert Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Knutsson in the 45th minute of the match. Kennet Markusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sivert Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kennet Markusson was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, IzmirFK's Peter Vollander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Lindsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hekto IF's Matthias Blom got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Markusson got free with Sivert Lindsten in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Per-Erik Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Per-Erik Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IzmirFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Erik Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Hekto IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Hekto IF's Sivert Lindsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Josefsson in the 71st minute of play. Matthias Blom's late challenge caught a IzmirFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Blom helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Hekto IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Blom to maneuver through the defense. Per-Erik Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Björn Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kennet Markusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Lindsten having to interfere. Matthias Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Vollander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sivert Lindsten made a huge save. After 90 played minutes IzmirFK got a freekick which was hit by Martin Knutsson. Kennet Markusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sivert Lindsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
