An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Melander in the 17th minute of play forced Salles FF's goalkeeper Arkhyp Verteletskyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Uter got free with Robin Olsen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arkhyp Verteletskyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvin Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salles FF's Arkhyp Verteletskyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Östlund in the 22nd minute of play. Joar Östlund charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joar Östlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Joar Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Uter in the 26th minute of play forced IF Elfsborg's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Ingemar Uter made a precise shot to the right of Robin Olsen. IF Elfsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Arkhyp Verteletskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Östlund in the 34th minute of play. When Ragnar Finnman fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salles FF's protests and gave Ragnar Finnman a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Salles FF got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Finnman. In the 38th minute Arvin Vinström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkhyp Verteletskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ingemar Uter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robin Olsen. The goal made the score 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Uter made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Arkhyp Verteletskyi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in IF Elfsborg's zone, Ingemar Uter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Olsen came out of the goal and Ingemar Uter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salles FF's Arkhyp Verteletskyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Salles FF from getting a goal against them. Arkhyp Verteletskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvin Vinström in the 60th minute of the match. Ingemar Uter struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Robin Olsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salles FF. David Häll hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Arkhyp Verteletskyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Bryngelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Salles FF's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Vinström came free, but Arkhyp Verteletskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkhyp Verteletskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvin Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, IF Elfsborg's Joar Östlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joar Östlund got free with Arkhyp Verteletskyi in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute of the match, Arvin Vinström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arkhyp Verteletskyi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
