The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Kedranam FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kedranam FC's Bror Karlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Hedkvist in the 11th minute of play. Alf Ekström succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Otto Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kedranam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skövde's Hubert Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde from getting a goal against them. Peter Björklund came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hubert Bergqvist could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Edvard Hedkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skövde's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Hedkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bror Karlstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hubert Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Björklund in the 39th minute. Hubert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Ekström in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Skövde getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Roland Abrahamsson hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Alf Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvin Valström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hubert Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Valström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alf Ekström took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Bergqvist. Hubert Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Skövde's Kalle Lindberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. Hubert Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björklund in the 78th minute of play forced Skövde's goalkeeper Hubert Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kedranam FC's zone, Edvard Hedkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Karlstedt came out of the goal and Edvard Hedkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Alf Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kedranam FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Ekström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvin Valström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Bergqvist having to interfere. Hubert Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Valström in the 90th minute of the match. Sven Odeen in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bror Karlstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvard Hedkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Karlstedt having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kedranam FC had played much better football throughout.
