The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IF Elfsborg's Pär Granström got a free kick in the 9th minute. Robin Olsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Burman's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Lindman in the 13th minute of play forced IF Elfsborg's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Romakloster IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Olsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Göran Holmgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Lindman in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Olsen saved IF Elfsborg from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match, Arvin Vinström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göran Holmgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Lindman in the 41st minute of play forced IF Elfsborg's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren got control of the ball when Pär Granström tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvin Vinström was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Lindman in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Olsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Skålberg in the 83rd minute of play forced IF Elfsborg's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Trillkotts short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Robin Olsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robin Olsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Burman in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match, Stefan Lindman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robin Olsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Niclas Burman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Robin Olsen made a huge save. Romakloster IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
