Spectators: 7417 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tor Glad got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Osvald Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Skövde's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Skålberg came free, but Hubert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Roland Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Burman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Skövde's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Skålberg came free, but Hubert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Odeen in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Skövde's goalkeeper Hubert Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Burman. After 20 minutes of play, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Osvald Skålberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Hubert Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Skålberg in the 31st minute of the match. Skövde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Sören Trillkott scored to the left of an out of position Hubert Bergqvist, making the score, 5-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Osvald Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romakloster IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Skålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skövde's Hubert Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Romakloster IFK's Niclas Burman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hubert Bergqvist. Hubert Bergqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. With a little luck, Skövde's Hubert Bergqvist got control of the ball when Niclas Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Odeen in the 47th minute of play forced Romakloster IFK's goalkeeper Göran Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

Skövde's Hubert Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Trillkott in the 53rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skövde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Romakloster IFK. Niclas Burman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hubert Bergqvist. 7-1. After some careless play in the Skövde defense, Sören Trillkott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Bergqvist. The Skövde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Skövde's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Burman came free, but Hubert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Trillkott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Romakloster IFK's Edvin Sundberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Odeen got free with Göran Holmgren in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hubert Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sören Trillkott came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Romakloster IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Trillkott couldn't finish the play. Stefan Lindman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Skövde's Roland Abrahamsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Göran Holmgren. Göran Holmgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-2. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde's zone, Osvald Skålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Bergqvist came out of the goal and Osvald Skålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Romakloster IFK booed when Skövde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Niclas Burman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Trillkott in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Niclas Burman made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Bergqvist. Skövde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Skålberg in the 94th minute of play forced Skövde's goalkeeper Hubert Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Burman in the 95th minute of play. Tor Glad charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Glad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romakloster IFK made a substitution. Michel Arenstedt replaced Niclas Burman.
