The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Arvin Vinström made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Flyers SC's protests and gave Rudolf Björk a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play, IF Elfsborg's Olle Bryngelsson made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Wallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arvin Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Wallin having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IF Elfsborg had played much better football throughout.
