Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Skövde's Tor Glad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hubert Bergqvist was a little too slow when Harry Johansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 6th minute, Robin Ståhlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hubert Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Skövde getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Magnus Beck hit a great ball. Tor Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kent Westerstrand fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skövde's protests and gave Kent Westerstrand a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Kent Westerstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Kasper Bållström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hubert Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvard Hedkvist in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Wallin saved Flyers SC from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match, Osvald Kollberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hubert Bergqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hubert Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flyers SC's Rudolf Björk. But to his dismay, Rudolf Björk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hubert Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingvar Wiman went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Flyers SC's Björn Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Abrahamsson in the 47th minute of play. Björn Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Hedkvist in the 48th minute of play.

Harry Johansson's late challenge caught a Skövde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Flyers SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Johansson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Skövde's Edvard Hedkvist got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Flyers SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roland Abrahamsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edvard Hedkvists short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Björn Wallin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Björn Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Glad in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Edvard Hedkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Björn Wallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Skövde's Edvard Hedkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Wallin. Björn Wallin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Björn Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Glad in the 76th minute of play. Tor Glad scored 5-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Rudolf Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Wallin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sven Odeen sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Kollberg in the 88th minute of play forced Skövde's goalkeeper Hubert Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skövde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Kasper Bållström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Harry Johansson was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Skövde booed when Flyers SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Flyers SC could leave the field as winners, despite Skövde having more of the ball for most of the match.
