Spectators: 7494 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Valdemar Berglund fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nygård FK's protests and gave Valdemar Berglund a yellow card for diving instead. Romakloster IFK's Vilhelm Östensson was substituted for Osvald Skålberg. After 4 played minutes Romakloster IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sören Trillkott. With a little luck, Nygård FK's Ömer Halisdemir got control of the ball when Niclas Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Lindman in the 22nd minute of play forced Nygård FK's goalkeeper Ömer Halisdemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Nygård FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Trillkott came free, but Ömer Halisdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Blom in the 27th minute of play. Nygård FK's Douglas Modig got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Nygård FK booed when Romakloster IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Östensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Burman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ömer Halisdemir made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Modig to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Romakloster IFK got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Burman. In a very dangerous position, a player in Romakloster IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 59th match minute, Nygård FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Sören Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nygård FK's Marcus Karlberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Göran Holmgren but with some difficulty. If Douglas Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Tor Blom notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Romakloster IFK's Göran Holmgren. Göran Holmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Sören Trillkott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ömer Halisdemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vilhelm Östensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ömer Halisdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Verner Harlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Romakloster IFK's Vilhelm Östensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ömer Halisdemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ömer Halisdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Östensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Stefan Lindman took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ömer Halisdemir. Ömer Halisdemir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
