The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Rolfstorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Vallander. Edvard Björkdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Valström in the 5th minute of the match. Rolfstorp IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Folke Stenqvist in the 9th minute. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kedranam FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Folke Stenqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Rolfstorp IFK's players had a chance to rest. Folke Stenqvist made a great header on Rolfstorp IFK's corner, it was just that Kedranam FC's Bror Karlstedt managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Rolfstorp IFK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Folke Stenqvist hit a great ball. Otto Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, Alf Ekström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Björkdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 24 minutes of play, Kedranam FC's Peter Björklund made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Björkdahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, Kedranam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Björklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Alvin Valström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Peter Björklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvard Björkdahl. Rolfstorp IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Björklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Alf Ekström sped through Rolfstorp IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvard Björkdahl. Alf Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rolfstorp IFK's Mats Vallander got a free kick in the 41st minute. Edvard Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvard Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Valström in the 45th minute of play.

In the 53rd minute, Peter Kollberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Deckbergh charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
