Spectators: 7440 (Terracing: 5689, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Kollberg started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Rolfstorp IFK's Edvard Björkdahl got control of the ball when Niclas Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sören Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Sävström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Göran Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Göran Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Lund in the 14th minute of the match. Tommy Pihlblad charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Pihlblad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvald Skålberg in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Björkdahl saved Rolfstorp IFK from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Sävström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Göran Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Kollberg's late challenge caught a Romakloster IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Kollberg helped the player get up and apologised. Edvard Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lindman in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 41st minute of the game Edvin Sundberg made a throw-in which Georg Göransson played forward. Rolfstorp IFK's Edvard Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Lindman in the 42nd minute of play. Edvin Lindman scored 2-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niclas Burman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Romakloster IFK's goalkeeper Göran Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Johan Sävström. Göran Holmgren came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rolfstorp IFK's Karl-Johan Sävström. But to his dismay, Karl-Johan Sävström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. A collision led to Rolfstorp IFK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ludvig Molin hit a great ball. Edvard Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Niclas Burman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvard Björkdahl. Rolfstorp IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niclas Burman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After 69 minutes of play, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Björkdahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvard Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Niclas Burman took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvard Björkdahl. Edvard Björkdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. After 80 minutes of play, Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvard Björkdahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 minutes, Sören Trillkott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romakloster IFK and the Rolfstorp IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Romakloster IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Trillkott to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Niclas Burman notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of Rolfstorp IFK's Edvard Björkdahl. Edvard Björkdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Stefan Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Rolfstorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Sävström. Rolfstorp IFK's Edvard Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Skålberg in the 92nd minute of play. Romakloster IFK's Sören Trillkott managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tommy Pihlblad in the 94 minute of the game. In the 95th minute Sören Trillkott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
