The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björn Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Burman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Arenstedt took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Wallin. Björn Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Osvald Skålberg scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Wallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudolf Björk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Göran Holmgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvald Skålberg in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Wallin saved Flyers SC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Michel Arenstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 minutes of play, Romakloster IFK's Niclas Burman made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Wallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Romakloster IFK booed when Flyers SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Burman in the 33rd minute of the match. Niclas Burman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Romakloster IFK's Niclas Burman to fire away a dangerous shot which Björn Wallin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flyers SC's zone, Stefan Lindman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Wallin came out of the goal and Stefan Lindman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Arenstedt in the 39th minute of play forced Flyers SC's goalkeeper Björn Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Skålberg took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Wallin. Björn Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Stefan Lindman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Wallin having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niclas Burman to make the kick off. Romakloster IFK's Niclas Burman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Björn Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Skålberg in the 56th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Klas Åström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Björn Wallin. That made the score 0-7 in the 58 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Stefan Lindman notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Flyers SC's Björn Wallin. Björn Wallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Niclas Burman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flyers SC's Björn Wallin didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the match, Romakloster IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Björk came free, but Göran Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Flyers SC's goalkeeper Björn Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Burman. If Stefan Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Burman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Björn Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flyers SC's Björn Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Flyers SC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Flyers SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Harry Johansson hit a great ball. Osvald Skålberg let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 82nd minute shot 0-9 at rihgt post. Romakloster IFK's Michel Arenstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björn Wallin stood somewhat misplaced when Osvald Skålberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 90 minute. In the 95th minute, Stefan Lindman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Björn Wallin, passed just outside the right post. When Romakloster IFK's Osvald Skålberg in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flyers SC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Romakloster IFK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flyers SC.
