Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stig Esbjörnsson kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Johansson. Mikael Siöman's late challenge caught a Polar Ice Caps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Siöman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Nissafors FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Siöman to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Bengt Johansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nissafors FK's Andy Viklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nissafors FK! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Polar Ice Caps. Bengt Johansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andy Viklund. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt Johansson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Viklund saved Nissafors FK from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nissafors FK's Vidar Stenquist got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Nissafors FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Johansson came free, but Andy Viklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polar Ice Caps's Ingmar Klementsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vilhelm Andreasson in the 21 minute of the game. Nissafors FK's Andy Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Johansson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Vilhelm Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Viklund came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Polar Ice Caps's Bengt Johansson. But to his dismay, Bengt Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Bengt Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Ingmar Klementsson got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ralf Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Viklund having to interfere. When André Botvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polar Ice Caps's protests and gave André Botvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, one of Polar Ice Caps:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Polar Ice Caps. Polar Ice Caps:s Ture Viklund showed great skill when he stopped Esbjörn Tillman:s penalty. After the first half Polar Ice Caps were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt Johansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Johansson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Andy Viklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polar Ice Caps. Andy Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Johansson got free with Andy Viklund in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andy Viklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Johansson in the 68th minute. Mark Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Vidar Stenquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nissafors FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polar Ice Caps the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nissafors FK's Vidar Stenquist got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Bengt Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Polar Ice Caps's Bengt Johansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nissafors FK's goalkeeper Andy Viklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Bengt Johansson took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Andy Viklund to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Polar Ice Caps's Bengt Johansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andy Viklund. Andy Viklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Sivert Sander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Viklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Johansson in the 96th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Sivert Sander notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Nissafors FK's Andy Viklund. Andy Viklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Polar Ice Caps played a much better game than Nissafors FK and deserved their victory. The Nissafors FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
