Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gilbert Nordin made the kick off and thus started the match. Per-Åke Brolin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tage Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nissafors FK's zone, Gilbert Nordin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Viklund came out of the goal and Gilbert Nordin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Tage Jonsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andy Viklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Nordin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Andy Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Nordin in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nissafors FK's goalkeeper Andy Viklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Karl-Axel Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö F K's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Brodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Mikael Siöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Viklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Nordin's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Utö F K's Per-Åke Brolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Utö F K from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Utö F K booed when Nissafors FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Utö F K's Gilbert Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Karlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tage Jonsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Per-Åke Brolin made a huge save. When Stig Esbjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nissafors FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Esbjörnsson couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Esbjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claes Nordström hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Esbjörn Tillman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Åke Brolin skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nissafors FK's zone, Ove Karlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Viklund came out of the goal and Ove Karlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ove Karlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Tage Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Karl-Axel Brodin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andy Viklund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Esbjörnsson in the 68th minute of play forced Utö F K's goalkeeper Per-Åke Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Nissafors FK. Esbjörn Tillman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Per-Åke Brolin. 2-0. Karl-Axel Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Viklund having to interfere. Ove Karlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Viklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Jonsson in the 94th minute of play forced Utö F K's goalkeeper Per-Åke Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Stig Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Nissafors FK could leave the field as winners, despite Utö F K having more of the ball for most of the match.
