In the 9thth minute of the game Stellan Sellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björkås's Charlie Björklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charlie Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Björkås defense, Stellan Sellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlie Björklund. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Björklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Polar Ice Caps's Ralf Nyberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlie Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 43rd minute, Tommy Lönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
