Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joseph Markusson made the kick off and thus started the match. Karl-Oskar Colin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Ralf Wiberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Colin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Berghem's zone, Ralf Wiberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Colin came out of the goal and Ralf Wiberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Berghem's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Forssell came free, but Karl-Oskar Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Joseph Markusson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Karl-Axel Martinsson to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Berghem getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Paul Björklund hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Berghem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Bure to maneuver through the defense. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Veberöd from getting a goal against them. Karl-Oskar Colin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Forssell in the 19th minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Colin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Backlund went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Ralf Wiberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Gustav Forssell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Oskar Colin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Markusson came free, but Karl-Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joseph Markusson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Axel Martinsson. That made the score 2-2 in the 32 minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Berghem's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Backlund came free, but Karl-Oskar Colin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Veberöd getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Andreas Linberg hit a great ball. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Markusson in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Harry Gustavsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Oskar Colin. Berghem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Gustavsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Karl-Oskar Colin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Forssell went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.
The wind increased when Ralf Wiberg made the kick off in the second half. Jens-Erik Hernström made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Orvar Jespersson. Karl-Oskar Colin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bengt Backlund sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Oskar Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Wiberg in the 65th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Staffan Wickander put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in Veberöd's zone, Brian Forsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Martinsson came out of the goal and Brian Forsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Joseph Markusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralf Wiberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Bengt Backlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Oskar Colin. Bengt Backlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. 80 minutes into the match, Gustav Forssell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Oskar Colin. Berghem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Forssell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. After 85 minutes of play, Veberöd's Gustav Forssell made it 2-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Oskar Colin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gustav Forssell came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Veberöd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Forssell couldn't finish the play. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Markusson in the 92nd minute of play. If Bengt Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Berghem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Veberöd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
